The Savoy

The Savoy

In spite of the fact that individuals tend to consider it solid and constant, The Savoy has something of a split identity and has in certainty changed significantly throughout the years. It's finished in Edwardian style on the Thames side - from which Monet and Whistler painted the waterway - however it's quintessentially Workmanship Deco on the Strand side. Rooms are extensive and customary however never sloppy; and in a universe of contracting baths, The Savoy's remain satisfyingly profound. The Savoy Flame broil and Kaspar's fish eatery (named after the occupant feline, which, being made of wood, is totally hypoallergenic and sometimes raises any hell) are phenomenal; and the hotel is honored with two of the finest watering openings in London, The American Bar, granddaddy of London's mixed drink bars, and its more youthful, sassier kin, The Beaufort Bar. So don't attempt to make it an 'either/or' suggestion - it must be an 'and'.
